The Goats at Bear Creek Park

While I was passing by Bear Creek Park this afternoon I spotted some fuzzy shadows moving about near the community garden. Sure enough, it was the herd of 800 cashmere goats that have grazed the weeds down at the park for numerous Novembers. I hadn’t actually had a chance to see them before so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to watch for a few minutes and take some pics (of course I only had my cell phone camera but it’s better than nothing!). Nothing phased these goats, they were busy mowing down the section of grass they were tasked to for the day). The goats have been in the park for about 2 weeks and could be gone tomorrow but, if you get a chance, be sure to stop by and see the little guys!
