Everyday Life in the Pikes Peak Region

Since spring is finally poking it’s head around the corner a bit I figured I could go back and actually enjoy some of my winter photos and excursions.

Here’s my favorite snowshoeing/winter playground from January. Andrew’s Lake, located just south of Silverton, CO had epic views, 5ft+ of snow and plenty of blue sky and winter Colorado sunshine. It’s the first time in my life that I experiences snow up to my neck!

We topped off the day with a trip to the San Juan Grill in Silverton for some AMAZING fresh home cooked food and a stop into the Silverton Brewery.
